I figured this was the best section for this.

Who do you think is the best writer on TT? Who do you think is the worst? How does everybody else rate in between that? Who shows potential and just needs a bit of help to raise their score?

I would make a list of who I think are the established TT writers, but really, I'm too lazy for that sort of thing.

I'd say Scotty has become a good writer, and he's learned how to deal with some of the bullshit on the internet.

GlassOnion writes stuff that's written well with his characteristic humor. There are others that I think are good writers as well and I'm just being lazy, so there's that.

You asked who the best writer here was. I was pointing out the obvious.

Of course, I was going to suggest that we make this into a sequel of that thread where we posted one of our pasta, and the person who posted after you rated you as a writer.

I nominate myself for best writer.
I humbly accept my nomination.

The academy asks for a submission of a sample of your work, for judging purposes.

My strength is characterisation and a sense of familiarity/relatability but I lack consistency in my writing (one story okay and the next is shit) and I also don't have the skills required to creatre literature that's pleasant to read.

I rate Ultra as our most talented writer. Perhaps not the most popular but certainly the most capable.

Ultra is probably the best of those who make contributions here. I guess Josef doesn't count since he hasn't really posted anything here.

Don't sell yourself short though, Scooty, I don't think I've ever disliked one of your stories.

Idea wise I'd put LaserGoose really high.

Scotty, Klempky, Vaughn, and Ultra to varying degrees are probably the best from a writing perspective, with weaknesses and strengths that I'd analyze but that would be work.

There's a lot of good writers on the site besides these, I just can't think of them specifically right now.

I think that most of us who have submitted a story have written something decent.

But I can't decide who I think is our best writer out of Bears and Rocket.

Hint hint.

I like how all the other writers are better than me at being scary. I'm like that lame camp counselor who wants to tell a scary story but ends up telling a bedtime story instead.

I think your stories mostly just end up being sad. Not in a bad way, they're still scarier than most of the things I've written, but most of yours end with more of a sad thing than a scary thing.

Yeah, actually, GO might be right about Lasergoose. His stories are really engaging and he's nailed the whole creepypasta thing down so well.

So I finally got around to actually writing the list of who I consider to be the TT writers. This is in no particular order, but here:

Lasergoose.
Klempky.
CaptainZombieYeti.
Scotty.
Glass Onion.
Tekkactus.
Cosbydaf.
Overman.
Derelik Films.
Ultra.
armaneaux.
Vaughn.

I would protest that I write too, but I only have something like five pasta ever, so I guess I have yet to build up my "cred". Also, those pasta are spread out over roughly two years.

I should get a move on and start really putting stuff out, I should.

Man, I really need to start writing pastas again. I suppose I can set THE EMPEROR! aside for at least one little story.
