As I walked home in the spring,
I heard a sound so fair
I thought an angel sing,
Though I found a maiden so pretty I did stare.

With hair of spun gold,
And eyes like blue lakes,
In her hand, mine did she hold,
And with a smile, my heart she takes.

As I walked home one summer,
I heard a laugh so clear,
I thought bells did mummer,
And it was my lass, eating a pear.

She had curved hips,
And wide shoulders,
We greeted with our lips,
And my arms did hold hers.

As we walked in the fall,
Down a hole my lass did tumble,
And down I dived at her call,
To me, her love she did mumble.

I blushed,
And I did stutter,
Her face was just as flushed,
My love to her I did mutter.

As we walked home in the winter,
She pointed to a tree,
And asked, "Would you cut down that fir?"
I said to her, "Only if you kiss me."

And with her lips so plump,
She leaned to mine so they may meet,
My hand on her rump,
And our tongues did greet.

As we walked home one spring,
My pretty little maiden said to me,
"Why don't we have a ring?"
And I says to her, "Wed we'll be."

And so for her I did get a ring,
And so beneath our fir,
We were wed that spring,
Me a husband and she a wife we were.

I should listen to Celtic Thunder more often.

Come on, shoot faster,
Just a little bit of energy!
I wanna try something fun right now,
I guess some people call it anarchy!

The cutest poem ever to contain the word "rump"!
