Not that I'm an expert, but I was asked by a few people to give my thoughts on how to write a great horror story. I have started a short book on Wattpad about it, if anyone is interested.

What's there so far is about developing a writing process, which might help those working in other genres.

I'll be adding to it over time. If anyone feels like it may help, by all means check it out: http://www.wattpad.com/story/2168999-ho ... rror-story

That was way more basic than I was expecting.

It's a work in progress. The chapters which are there already are about my approach to writing. The following chapters take the reader from an idea through to the completion of a horror story, with specific reference to useful literary techniques.

It is written to be accessible by all.

My writing study is any place I'd rather not be. Lately I've grown sick of everywhere.
