I have way too many writing projects on my plate that I want to get done. Individually speaking based on just stories waiting to be written, I have about 42 of them (and that's just the ones I have on my laptop right now; I have more waiting on an external harddrive). It's a bit overwhelming at times. Plus, with my ADD when it comes to writing, it's hard to keep my focus on one project at a time. So I ask, what do you all think I should do? Do any of you have a similar problem?

Take a break. Think about each one in any time you've got, write down ideas, decide which ones take priority and which ones have the most potential, as well as which ones interest you the most or are the most fun to write.

When you've got a good idea of what you want to write, get back to it.

That's the thing, though: I already throw away projects that I lose interest in or that I realize won't work how I want them to. Just ask Overman; I've thrown away a lot of ideas over the years.

The ones that I have right now are the stories I have the most interest in and that I think will be fun to write.

Taking a break to accumulate inspiration/motivation is still a solid technique.

Create a top 5 and ignore the rest for at least 3 months.

I already took like a week long break from writing, but yeah, maybe I should try taking an even longer break from writing. After I finish this current project.

Then maybe I'll try Krypto's suggestion. I don't know. Maybe.
