don't you sass me shitcat

so I went and downloaded a supposedly "SUPER COMPLETE VERSION OF HYRULE GUYS FOR REAL" to see how other people handled certain areas. and i discovered that most people handled the project with a whole lot of half assery, MCedit, and fudging proportions/scaling.

also, since i downloaded the newest snapshot, i'm unable to open my original hyrule file because it's raining in a desert and for some reason it crashes when this happens. in the mean time, i found a really good overhead map that happens to line up really well with my grid in photoshop. So i'll be working from a combination of maps from that site and from looking around on the emulator. until i find a way to fix the original i think i'll work on other structures and fit it all together later.

Me? Sass?

Never.

Seriously, though, I'm glad you're doing this again. Gives me an excuse to play Minecraft.

I am too because i've been really wanting to DO something lately. Papercrafts are too short lived and can get tedious since by the time i actually have enough time to sit down and do them i'm tired and can't concentrate on folds and have no patience for gluey fuckups.

Anyhow. I think I'm gonna clear out a bigass space on a world in mc edit and then put together jabu jabu.

I used to love papercraft. I still have the life sized Splicer masks from Bioshock that I spent a few days each on.

It was starting to get stressful as I got into the more advanced stuff, though. Didn't have the time or materials. Might pick it up again some day.

Alright, bouts to go work on it summore.

Last night: Did the House of Skulltula. It's kind of fucking weird. I found some really excellent to -scale overhead maps of everything in the game. The fucking outside of the house is small and square, and the interior is way bigger and pentagonal. So I made two separate buildings. When you walk in from the outside you'll drop in to the actual house.

Also I did the bombchu bowling alley and started the treasure chest game.

Here come some multiposts because i don't want to upload stuff to tinypic.

this set is from dampe's grave (the place where you race the gravedigger's ghost and get the hookshot). disregard glowstone's ugliness, i'll be making it transparent when i redo the texture pack.

Yeah. I was going to use MCedit to put part of the ceiling on the grave, but for some reason it doesn't work since i installed the last snapshot.
