I'd like to remind all the new and lurking members that they are completely free to join in on the games in Role Playground (well, not Delta Blues since the roster is full up right now, but still). It is a great way to get to know us and to let us get to know you.

Oh shit. Double p--

I know Delta Blues isn't over yet, but since we seem to be doing the whole "one game at a time" and like four people have told me they are interested in running their own game, I figured giving everybody a head's up now would be a good idea.

Basically, the next game will be decided through a "first come, first serve" sort of thing for whoever has the most well-thought out game idea and has enough people interested in playing. So if you're interested in running one, you may want to start planning now.

Another point that has come up would be games with set low numbers of players like four or five, which could be more turnbased rather than the free-for-all of TP and DB. Or even just a second game in general if there is enough interest or people who willing to play.

Discuss.

So it looks like this could be used to run a tabletop RP game. It allows for map and token customization. I'll take some time to try to learn it and maybe run a game with it in the near future, I'm hoping a few of you will as well.

Edit: I just checked and it looks like it does support online play and also has a bunch on premade campaigns including some of the more popular ones like Shadowrun and CoC.

I think that's what I used to play Rogue Trader with. I'm pretty familiar with it.

So I wrote a new Fairfield story today, but I'm not going to post it yet because I wrote it as an idea for a game. Once I figure out the specifics of what I'd like to do with the game (and once there's a slow point for the other games), I'll post the story and the game's thread.

This looks pretty good as well. If anyone wants to try it that is. Might work for Overman's game.

Roll20 is good, but it's still in beta so there may be glitches... Also they've stated that if the site uses too much bandwidth while in open beta they'll return to closed beta. Just a heads up.

Ah, I just noticed the beta sign. It seems convenient though since there isn't any download. I'm willing to try it out if others are too.

I tailored the system for Overman's game so that dice wouldn't be necessary. But a dice roller might be good for something else.

I think this section needs to be kicked into gear again. And that means it needs another game since The Last Stop was essentially .. well, stopped.

So do any of you have any ideas? Maybe some of you would like to run some of the games that were mentioned before now that were never started?

I can still do my zombie game. I will re-think and re-post that if I can get four people who are willing to play for two weeks--every night one or two posts.

I can start up the CYOA at almost any time. It'll take some effort, but I could pull it off.

I'd be willing to join up with the zombie game, so just three more people are needed.

And that works, Ches. Whenever you want to start that, just let me know so I can add you to the purples.

Wait, I'm confused.
Who's gonna do the Zombie game, guest, beef pop or Banana Corn?

Whoever gets storyteller permission from Vaughn or Krypto, and has time to run a game, can run a game, as far as I know. I don't have time, though.
