Well here is a list of all the names I saw when I skimmed through, sorry if I missed something. If the story just mentioned a grocery store/hospital with no name, I wrote no name next to it. And I wasn't quite sure if Ashenview was in Fairfield or if it was a neighboring area or something. The other Architects should double check if everything is there and correct.

Buildings/Stores:
Fairfield Veterans Hospital
Hospital (no name)
Grocery Store (no name)
Lister’s Hotel
The Garden’s Flower Shoppe
Just Delicious
Fairfield Bottling Company
Fairfield Farmer’s Market
Fairfield Butcher’s Shop
The Gentle-Woman's Shoppe
Old “Shoppe” on Worchester Ave (no name)
Greek Orthodox Church
Fairfield Mall
Murphy's Shack (Irish pub)
Fields County High School
Fields County Courthouse
Fairfield Police Department
Abandoned elementary school (no name, located at the edge of the town)
Elementary school (no name, at the center of town)
Indian take-out place (no name, on Main Street)
Gramma Ruth's Diner
Local Supermarket (Field’s Market)
Fairfield Forest
Memorial Statue dedicated to Captain Truth
Fairfield Chronicle
Motel (no name)
Old Meat Market (no name)
Clarence Chemical Solutions
Bottom's Up (bar)
Fairfield Cemetery

Neighboring Areas:
Belton
Hartstead
- University of Hartstead
- Hartstead Institute of Art and Technology
Ashenview?
- Neon Princess Tavern

Roads/Streets:
Green Brook Road
Lowell Road
Mockingbird Road
Larch Avenue (Mockingbird and Larch intersect)
Worchester Avenue
16th Street
Herald Avenue
3rd Street
Cadaver Avenue
Blue Jay Way (There is a park on the corner of blue jay way and foxtrot ave)
Foxtrot Avenue
Main Street
Cashmere Grove
Other:
Lake Ellen
Fairfield Park
McLister’s Well
Oakden Lake

In regards to Ashenview it's just meant to be an area within Fairfield proper, like a couple of blocks that are just known as Ashenview. Sort of like how Beverly Hills or Hollywood work in Los Angeles but on a much smaller scale.

I might be extremely late, but I have an idea that you could use. I also have a photo that I took and edited, so it could act as inspiration. (To add to the scenery and imagination.) It's actually a photo of an impact area that mortars land. The mortar platoon has targets throughout this impact area. This impact area was shut down because of the construction going on near this specific impact site. There is still one of the targets, an old-fashioned vehicle, on a pathway. I edited in a creepy stick person. The reason I did that was because when I was 14, my little brother and his best friend told me that they saw stick figures running from tree to tree. I would have ran my *** inside. They were playing outside at night when they supposedly saw these "stick people". Anyways, here is the photo I took and edited in photoshop:

This can be a pathway that leads to the town, or a pathway out. You mentioned the town would be set in America near some type of wooded area. The photo I provided was taken in Alaska, Fairbanks. I was originally going to use it for an original creepy pasta titled "Rainbow Road" where people are found hanging from tree branches along the path as if on display. Each person was of a different nationality, hence "Rainbow Road". I am brainstorming a new story, so I thought I'd toss that one away. Hopefully this helps with the story. I like the name you made for your town. It sounds very similar to the town of Fairbanks, which is right outside of the military post I live on.

I was wondering.. Instead of coming up with a new name would it be possible to take out the Pennsylvania part and keep the name Fairfield? Since there are so many Fairfields people wouldn't necessarily know which one it was.

But then you still get some confusion like with the thing 2k13 posted here and stuff like Fairfield Inn by Marriott and all that jazz.

If we can't think of a better name, we can go ahead and keep it the same, but otherwise, I agree with taking out the state to make it not as clear what state the town might be in.

If I can jump on the bandwagon to suggest a name, how about Woodend?

It's a real town name, and it's suitably ominous.

"Morning Hills"

I just want "Hills" in there, really.

Ash Grove. Mainly because I think Ash Grove Cemetery sounds cool.
But now that I keep saying it in my head it's starting to sound weird. And look weird.

Pottersfield.

From what I can tell there aren't any other places with that name, although Potter's Field is the name of a couple of cemeteries, as well as a Tom Waits song.

For the love of god, do not go with anything involving the word, "Grove", as there is an annoying Netflix original series that has permanently ruined it for everyone.

Also, even though you guys are looking for a name that seems innocuous, I've always rather liked the idea of bodily ailments being town names such as Cataract, Iowa or Lockjaw, Tennessee. Just throwing that out there.

Yeah, Hemlock Grove is pretty bad. I didn't think of it until you mentioned it. I like the name though.

There's a Cadaver Avenue in Fairfield already. I feel like coming up with a morbid name for the entire town would be pushing it, in my opinion. A town with a bunch of creepy stuff going on and a creepy name to go along with it is just kind of too expected.

I suggested it briefly in the irc, but I really like the name "Ashfield" now.

Seems like it's only the name of one town in all of the US, too.

Ashfield is nice. I like how there's still a "field" in it.
